Public Wine Shop was founded by Campbell Burton and Charlotte Ryan in November 2020. 

The inspiration for Public Wine Shop was born out of a love of well farmed and delicious food and wine and travels throughout Australia, Europe, America and Asia visiting vignerons and great bars, wine shops and restaurants. 

It’s been our dream since 2013 to have a little wine shop and bar in which we could welcome people and talk about the wines, food and farmers we love.

Beyond the wine, food and music we feel very fortunate to operate in Melbourne, for us one of the great places in the world when it comes to hospitality. 

Much like sister business Campbell Burton Wines, all of the wines at Public Wine Shop contain organically farmed grapes and nothing else. For us there us just so much joy and interest in wines farmed and made this way and we get a great deal of pleasure sharing them.
