This is truly exceptional medium bodied red wine from a producer who we have recently started working with and beyond excited about doing so. Kunoh wines are at the very skilled hands of Yuki Nakano who is based in Nelson (NZ) …..one of the most magic and breathtaking corners of the world.
Yuki’s winemaking craftwork and farming practises are meticulous, wildly knowledgable, precise, creative and thoughtful and you can really see and taste this in the wines.
This cuvee is made from a blend of pinot noir, merlot and malbec. It’s a beautiful expression of all the colours on the spectrum… bright red fruit, juicy purple fruit, broody black fruit. And true to many of Yuki’s wine, theres a striking balance of concentrated fruit, savouriness, minerality and structure.
If you have tasted these wines yet, I couldn’t recommend them enough.
