Cantillon & Cantina Giardino Drogone Lambic
Brussels, Belgium / Campania, Italy
Lambic Beer, Aglianico
6.5% ABV.
One for the beer heads!
Cantillon has been making wild-fermented, barrel-aged gueuze lambic beers in Brussels since its establishment in 1900 and is still operated by the same family. Increasingly sought-after and hard to find, these bottles are loved in beer circles around the world for their complexity, quality and ability to age. The style tends to be dry, vinous and tart, although the brewery produces a range of both drier and more fruity styles of beer.
This is a collaboration between Cantillon and Campania-based winery Cantina Guardino which saw 3-year-old lambic beer blended with the lees from a ferment of aglianico grapes. It was bottled in 2022.
