Our good friend Jean-Baptiste continues to grow and improve with each year. This is a wine he has been making each year and while past vintages were delicious, this year shows greater depth and finesse. This is a lovely light, chillable red of tempranillo grown by David Gartlmann in Hope Forest. Made in stainless, this was handled quite protectively and maintains a lot of primary qualities. Very light bodied, carrying lovely cherry and currant fruit and spices.
Lovely just below room temp, does not need food but would be great with lamb, or lighter but warming fare.
