This is dark, medium bodied syrah with splash of grenache from the amazing limestone soils of Conca de Barbera. This undeniably excellent region is just west of Barcelona and the soils here really give the wines amazing freshness and lift. Jordi Llorens has a quite profound level of geological knowledge and his wine making is rigorous and very precise. In short, we basically can’t recommend Jordi’s wines highly enough. They are SO much fun to drink - and he’s also a very nice guy.
