Bandicoot Run Ceramic Chardonnay 2023

Formerly architects with a shared interest in sustainable and regenerative design, Al and Adriana have since turned their attention to Al’s family property in West Gippsland, expanding the original plantings with a number of new blocks of vines as well as revegetating areas of the property with endemic plants and raising animals.
The quality of wine produced by this couple over the past few years has been fantastic, and recently we’ve particularly enjoyed their thoughtful handling of chardonnay. This cuvee saw fermentation and elevage in a ceramic egg and has deliciously youthful primary fruit as a result, supported by a framework of acidity and salinity which makes it very satisfying in warmer weather.
