From friend and Basket Hills luminary Anton von Klopper, this is a blend of merlot, syrah and barbera grown across a few organic sites dotted around Hope Valley, Hope Forest and McLaren Vale.
Medium-bodied and with plenty of youthful freshness, there’s lots of crunchy, slightly earlier-picked red berry fruit framed by some delicate regional leafy character and present but not-too-serious tannic structure.
Anton was among the first in the country to start making organic, additive-free wines back in 2007, and we’re always proud to have them on the shelf, in the fridge and on the table.
