Andrew Cummins crafts wonderful expressions of Barossa varieties, channeling his love of the region’s history into delicious, varietal and very well-made bottlings made with fruit from a handful of excellent organic vineyards.
This is old-vine grenache which was destemmed and saw a lengthy period on skins before being pressed off to barrel. It’s red-fruited and delicate, with minerality from the time on skins and some subtle savoury earthen nuance.
