La Petite Soeur Gamins 2022

A$86.00

Anjou, Loire Valley, France
Gamay
ABV: 11.7%

Gamay is often overlooked in the Loire however many natural wine producers see it’s virtue. Andrian here crafts a beautifully light yet structured red with beautiful earthen tension and varietal acidity. This feels both traditional and and fresh but might need 15 mins in a decanter to open up

Today, Adrien farms just over three hectares of Loire varieties outside the village of St Lambert du Lattay in Anjou, one the most widely revered regions of the Loire and makes a delicious range of seriously pure, detailed wines. The terroir here is largely schist-based which and the wines have a pleasing notion  of minerality as a result.
