Sylvino Alba d'Orata 2023

Sylvino was established by Sylvain Klausener and his partner Prue after the purchase of their property in Lenswood, Adelaide Hills, which is home to a beautiful organic vineyard which was planted to sauvignon blanc over 30 years ago.
With only one hectare under vine and an annual average production of about 2000 bottles, Sylvain and Prue are working on a very small scale and, as a result, are able to put a tremendous amount of love, focus and attention to detail into every bottle they produce, and the quality really is evident.
This cuvee was macerated through the start of its fermentation, resulting in a medium-bodied orange wine. It’s distinctly varietal, balancing just-ripe stone fruits with some refreshing grassiness and woody, ginger-y spiced character.
This is tasting so good – another really impressive release from this young and very exciting domaine. Cheers Sylvain and Prue!
